Agnes Hegedüs

Born in Budapest, Hungary in 1964, Hegedüs has been working with electronic media for over fifteen years. Recently her works have been concerned with aspects of collective and personal memory. These works were made for CD-ROM, DVD-ROM and net.art, examining archiving methods as a form of artistic expression. Hegedus has exhibited at Ars Electronica, Linz, Austria (1991, 1995); ISEA (1995, 2000); The Institute for Contemporary Art, London (1995); and as part of Future Cinema which was exhibited at ZKM in Karlsruhe, Kiasma Museum of Contemporary Art in Helsinki, and InterCommunication Center in Tokyo (2002-2003).

Hegedüs exhibited in the Gravity Online exhibition as part of the MAAP in Singapore 2004 Gravity Festival.
